Our Danish warehouse will be open during the summer vacation. We will be producing with reduced capacity in Sweden and our Chinese plant will be producing according to normal schedule.
The Danish plant will be closed during summer vacation from July 20. to August 2. Both days included.

Due to increasing demand from existing and new OE customers, we are now increasing our machining capacity significantly at our Chinese plant. During the next 2-3 weeks new CNC-machining centers and CNC-turning machines will be installed in our Ningbo plant 130 KM south of Shanghai. The machines are expected to run 24/6 to utilize the machines in the best possible way.
We are really happy and excited about the expansion of our company and the confidence our customers are showing us.
FJ Industries’ debut at the Global Automotive Components and Suppliers Expo 15 in Stuttgart has so far been a great success. Many companies have found their way to stand S4706 to meet our two Area Sales Managers, Frank Hemmingsen and Jørn K. Nielsen.

FJ INDUSTRIES A/S IS NOW A TS16949 CERTIFIED COMPANY
FJ Industries has passed the final TS16949 audit and is now certified according to the highest quality management standard within the automotive industry.
Sales Director Joachim Riisager explains: “For 10 years our company has worked according to the APQP and PPAP procedures on new projects and about a year ago we came to the point where the gap to achieve TS certification was actually not very big. Therefore we took the decision to start preparing our entire organization for full TS16949 certification. Now both our Danish and Swedish plants are certified and our plant in Ningbo, China, will be certified in Q2 this year.
Not only for our international automotive customers, but also for all our many industrial clients, the TS16949 certificate is a guarantee that we are managing all new projects, big or small, and serial production according to world class automotive standard”.

At FJ Industries’ plant in Ningbo, China, serial production has now started up on 2 new iron cast and machined components for UK’s largest OEM automotive business.
Development of the project began early in Q3, 2014 and now finally end of Q1, 2015 we have started to ramp up in our production. The characteristics of the 2 components are quite different to one another. One part – a cast inlet cone for the catalytic converter is weighing 2 kg while the other part, a small engine bracket, is weighing only a few hundred grams.
When peaking in 2017/2018 it is expected that the total volume of the 2 components will reach around 300,000 pcs. per year.

NEW FJ Industries has passed the TS16949 audit and all 3 manufacturing plants in Denmark, China and Sweden are now TS16949 certified.
Our Swedish plant has passed the main stage TS audit and has now been nominated to receive the TS certificate. We expect to receive the TS certificate no later than in the end of April.
All our 3 locations are now just waiting for the final paper work to be completed before we will receive the official certificates.
